Remember when the thought of the Indiana Pacers trading star forward Paul George seemed like a “pipe dream”? Remember when all the articles discussing a potential trade involving George seemed nothing more than click bait?
Well, it seems that the rumors are definitely real. So real in fact that the Boston Celtics are closing in on completing a trade with the Indiana Pacers for George.
Earlier today I wrote about the ongoing talks between the Celtics and Pacers regarding George and how Indiana was insistent on the Celtics including the 1st round pick that they can swap with Brooklyn.
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst and Marc Stein are both reporting that the Pacers are in talks to make preemptive moves to clear roster space.

Marc Stein tweeted in response and confirmation of Windhorst’s appearance on SportsCenter stating George-to-Boston is a story that has legs.

While things could fall apart at any moment, things are heading in the right direction to complete a Paul George trade from Indiana to Boston.
