The Phoenix Suns have been involved in some big sales over the past few seasons. In recent years they have parted ways with players such as Goran Dragic (Miami Heat) and Isaiah Thomas (Boston Celtics.
It appears they are looking to sell again.
While it’s been no secret that the Suns are shopping guard Brandon Knight, who has not adjusted to his 6th man role and has fell out of favor in Phoenix, ESPN’s Marc Stein reports that the Suns are also shopping Tyson Chandler.
Chandler and Knight could be a tricky duo to move, due to their long-term, high-salary contracts, but the Suns are pushing for them to be moved.
Sources indicated that the Suns are using a package around both Chandler and Knight to entice the Utah Jazz to part with Derrick Favors who the Suns believe will benefit from a change of system and scenery.
While Phoenix has the assets to make a play for the Bulls Jimmy Butler and/or the Pacers Paul George, sources say that the Suns are dedicated to building around Eric Bledsoe, Devin Booker and Marquese Chriss.
Phoenix is also more inclined to hold onto Alex Len, who has been linked to trade rumors in recent weeks.
