The Marshawn Lynch-to-the-Raiders process is on the fast track to completion.

According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Raiders were actively negotiating with Lynch on Thursday who intends to seek reinstatement to the NFL.

Lynch and the Raiders are working on a short-term, heavily incentivized contract, according to Werder’s report.

ESPN’s Josina Anderson is reporting that Lynch is seeking more than what the Raiders’ current offer is outlining.

Lynch’s former team, the Seattle Seahawks, still hold his rights but ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported last week that a Raiders and Lynch deal “eventually will happen”.

Seattle has been public and open about their willingness to allow Lynch to play for Oakland and to work out a deal with the Raiders that will allow him to do so.
