Ohio State’s J.T. Barrett Has Surgery, Will Play On Saturday

Ohio State quarterback J.T Barrett had minor knee surgery on Sunday but will play against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game Saturday, according to coach Urban Meyer.

Barrett’s surgery to clean up his injured right knee went well over the weekend, according to a report from ESPN. The Columbus Dispatch was the first to report on Barrett’s surgery.

“He’s going to play in the game,” Meyer said during his radio appearance.

“He looks good, good attitude, working good,” Ohio State offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson said on Tuesday. “We’re being smart with (his practice) volume so we make sure he’s there by Saturday.”
