The Yankees have acquired the reigning NL MVP Giancarlo Stanton. Stanton will join forces with the AL runner up for MVP, Aaron Judge.

The Marlins will receive second baseman Starlin Castro, and other unknown prospecs. Castro was acquired to fill the hole left by Dee Gordon after he was dealt to Seattle.

Do not be suprised however if the Marlins turn Castro around and trade him, given that they had to take on a big salary in order to trade Stanton

It is not hard to imagine that the Marlins would have such a good relationship with the Yankees, given the fact that Yankee great Derek Jeter is now the owner of the Miami Marlins.

While we all wait and watch the dominoes fall, the major trade piece has finally cleared way for other free agents to make their decisions as well.

More information may be provided soon, as we let this sink in. How long will it take to sink in? We will have to find out.
