The Michigan Wolverines are currently discussing a contract extension for head coach John Beilein that will keeo him on the sidelines beyond the 2020-2021 season.
“As a matter of fact we are [talking about that],” Beilein said Monday (h/t ESPN). “[Athletic director] Warde [Manuel] and I have been so busy and apart, but we’re working on that right now. So stay tuned.”
Beilein has been Michigan’s coach since 2007 and his last contract extension can back in 2015, earning $3.37M annually through 2020-2021.
Beilein is the Wolverines’ all-time wins leader with a record of 248-143.
