Clemson’s Shelton Mitchell, Marcquise Reed To Return After Withdrawing From Draft

The Clemson Tigers will welcome back their starting backcourt in 2018 as both Marquise Reed and Shelton Mitchell will be returning after they both withdrew from the NBA Draft.

Reed’s return will be an automatic boost to the Tigers’ offesnse as he paced Clemson in scoring last season, averaging 15.8 points per game.

Mitchell will look to build off his career-year last season in which he poured in 12.2 points a game.

Clemson finished the season 25-10 and reached the Sweet 16.

Clemson coach Brad Brownell said having Reed and Mitchell back gives the team one of the better backcourts in the ACC.
