Oakland Raiders Expected To Receive Votes To Approve Move To Las Vegas

The Raiders franchise is getting ready for a move to the city of Las Vegas. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Oakland Raiders are expected to have enough votes from NFL owners to approve their move to Las Vegas.

NFL owners are expected to vote on the Raiders’ proposed relocation to the ‘Sin City’ Monday at around 2 p.m. ET.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said that he expects the voting outcome to be “positive”.

“I think we will have a vote, and I think we will have a positive vote. I think we are in pretty good shape,” Goodell told ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio.

Las Vegas city, county and state officials have pledged $750 million in public funding toward a new stadium in Las Vegas and Raiders owner Mark Davis needs at least 24 “yes” votes from the 32 owners to approve the move.

All signs indicate that the Raiders will be Las Vegas bound.
