Georgia Bulldogs Fire Mark Fox

The Georgia Bulldogs have fired longtime head coach Mark Fox, who manned the sidelines for the past 9 seasons, according to a report from ESPN.

Intermediaries on behalf of the Bulldogs began reaching out to gauge the interest of potential replacements over the past several days and Todd Turner and Collegiate Sports Associates are expected to be retained to assist with the process.

Georgia finished 39-29 in 2016 and 2017, making back-to-back NIT appearances and Fox has led them to a 18-15 record this season, meaning that they are likely to miss another tournament.

Fox, 49, was hired back in 2009 and has amassed a 163-133 record over the past nine seasons
