Former Wolverines Quarterback Wilton Speight To Transfer To UCLA

Former Michigan Wolverines quarterback Wilson Speight announced on Thursday his decision to transfer to UCLA.

Speight announced his intentions to do so back in November 2017, but made the announcement this week to make things official.

Speight has dealt with injuries throughout his collegiate career, suffering an injury to his shoulder area that hindered his 2016 campaign, and suffering a broken vertebrae in the fourth game of the season in 2017 that cost him the rest of the season.

Ole Miss quarterback transfer Shea Patterson has joined Michigan, who also have Brandon Peters, Dylan McCaffrey, and Joe Milton in the mix behind center.

At UCLA, Speight will join a roster that includes sophmore quarterback Devon Modster and freshman signal caller Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
