La Salle Hires Ex-Louisville Assistant Kenny Johnson

Former Louisville Cardinals assistant coach Kenny Johnson has found a new job, joining the La Salle Explorers’ staff, according to CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish.

Johnson was fired from Louisville back in November after the school was involved in an FBI investigation into corruption in college basketball.

Per the investigation, the FBI alleged members of the Louisville staff worked with Adidas to pay the families of potential recruits, although Johnson has not been charged.

Johnson had drawn interest following his departure from Louisville but university administrators intervened to put an end to negotiations.
