North Carolina State has landed four-star combo guard Jalen Lecque, who announced his decision on Tuesday morning.
Lecque who is now attending Brewster Academy, opted to choose the Wolfpack over a number of other programs.
“I just felt like it was the perfect place for me,” Lecque said, during an interview with 247Sports. “It was honestly everything about the school and the program. I like the location, I like the coaching staff, and I think I fit in perfectly in their system.”
“They play a style that fits me well,” Lecque continued. “They like to play fast, and I am at my best when I am getting up and down the court. I think I am a perfect fit with what they like to do, and they told me I can come in and make a big impact on their team.”
“Me and Coach [Kevin] Keatts have a really good relationship,” Lecque said. “He is a great guy and a great coach. He has believed in me from day one and we really built a strong relationship, and I can’t wait to get there and have him be my coach.”
