The Georgia Bulldogs have lost leading receiver Jeremiah Holloman, who is no longer with the team due to an incident the morning after the 2018 G-Day spring scrimmage, according to Convington News.
While no charges have been formally filed, the alleged victim did file a report back on June 2nd and Holloman is accused of aggravated assault and battery.
“Jeremiah Holloman no longer represents the University of Georgia football program,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said, via a statement. “We expect every member of our team to uphold the highest standards and values of the University of Georgia and Georgia football. It is disappointing when this does not happen.”
Holloman had a breakout sophmore season in which he collected 24 catches for 418 yards and five touchdowns.
