South Dakota Coach Eric Peterson Suffers Injury During Fall at Home

South Dakota men’s basketball coach Eric Peterson was hospitalized on Thursday after suffering multiple injuries as a result of a fall at his home and will not be with the Coyotes when they take on UC Irvine on Saturday.

According to a schools spokesman, Peterson was outside his house decorating for the holidays Wednesday when he fell (h/t AP).

Peterson is in his first year at South Dakota after spending three seasons as an assistant at Utah State and has guided the Coyotes to a 5-5 record.
